Marshall focuses his practice on family law, personal injury, real estate litigation including foreclosures and representation of home owners’ associations, and general civil litigation. He also serves as the county attorney for the Anderson County Volunteer Guardian ad Litem Program.
Marshall is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Wofford College where he was a four-year member of the men’s golf team graduating with a B.A. in History, cum laude. After college, Marshall attended the Charleston School of Law. During law school, Marshall served as an Associate Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review.
After graduating law school, Marshall immediately entered private practice where he has remained ever since. Marshall is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina and has worked for private firms in both states. Marshall joined forces with Ronald Clement in 2015 in order to have the ability to focus on the special legal needs of small businesses and individuals in the Upstate. Although he is very much at home in a smaller, more personal-oriented firm, Marshall spent several years working for a large, regional law firm based in North Carolina. The wealth of experience Marshall gained from working in these different settings gives him a unique perspective that allows him to tailor creative solutions to his clients’ issues.
Marshall lives in Greenville with his wife, Elizabeth, who is a college English instructor. When not in the office, Marshall enjoys golfing, college athletics, live music, craft beer, and spending time in the outdoors.
